E-mail from the Indiana State Archives received 7/16/2014 in response of my request regarding Henry's naturalization's record.
"Thank you for your inquiry. I searched the Naturalization Records for Newton County but unfortunately did not locate any records that fit your description. Also, I checked the index for County Order Books but also did not find any matches.
Normally, I refer patrons to County Clerk of Court but you have already done so (+ I checked the Index, as described above).
The naturalization records for Newton County that we have are limited. Perhaps these records were destroyed?

On the same plot that he was burried in 1869, there is also a record of a burial of Minnie M., buried in 1871. Would she be an infant daughter?
